THE STORY
After years of creating pedals for myself and others just for fun, I began looking for an opportunity to turn this hobby, slash, obsession, into a career. In 2010 I decided to take the leap and Greenhouse Effects was born.
Having already spent years studying electrical engineering and PCB design, the transition into effects creation was a natural one. As word of my PCB design prowess began to spread, I was soon building my own effects while also doing layouts for other well regarded boutique companies all over the world (JHS, Darkglass Electronics, and Wren and Cuff to name a few). Greenhouse also became noticed for bold visuals, unique heavy duty folded steel enclosures, and intelligent internal design which results in a near bulletproof pedal that can take the rigors of even the most demanding touring musicians.
For more than a decade the mission of Greenhouse has always been clear. Create reliable pedals that inspire creativity and help connect musicians to their instruments in ways that feel warm and familiar as well radical and unexpected.
